My Philosophy as a Photographer…

I don’t think photography should feel stiff or overperformed. The best images usually happen when people stop trying so hard and just exist together for a second. A real laugh. Nervous hands. Wind is messing up your hair a little. That kind of thing.

My philosophy has always been simple: people over perfection. I’d rather give you photos that feel honest than ones that just look polished. Because years from now, you won’t care if everything was flawless. You’ll care if it feels real.

I am Maxwell. I use he/him pronouns, and I welcome you to a safe space with Shuffle Photography.

I love to be authentic. I am also a photographer who cares more about real moments than perfect poses. I’m usually looking for the in-between stuff, the laugh right before the photo, the quiet breath after it.

Through Shuffle Photography, I want people to feel comfortable, seen, and honestly… like themselves. That’s when the good stuff happens.
